First off, it's good to see you write more of your thoughts. I feel there are times some lies shouldn't be revealed. If it only clears someone's conscious and devastates others with the knowledge. And I understand the keeper of the secret is making a judgement for another.

As far as politically, it's the same song and dance since the beginning of time. Maybe it's always been under the guise of safety to control? Wag the Dog. Those at the forefront, the names we know, are simply puppets. There will be another downfall. There always will be.

The part of lying in relationships would be an interesting essay for readers as well. You are correct that It's so much more immaturity than diagnoses.

Jason, I'd like to challenge your position on lying. I realize I need evidence beyond my gut to support my take on this topic, so here goes. I don't believe people lie all that much. Or else I've just developed a finely-tuned BS detector - not a bad skill for anyone to learn. But here is another source to back up my premise, from Psychology Today no less, and I don't think they are lying. Haha. Here it is:

The contagion of deception is not just a moral problem. It is a field-level phenomenon. Lies are not just words. They are frequencies. They are load-bearing structures that shape the shared field of reality. When a lie is repeated, it does not just deceive the mind. It reorganizes the collective field.

What lingers with me is the observation that lies serve as a vehicle to dump trauma onto the unsuspecting. The victim must manage the other's accrued psychic debt in the form of imposed nervous system dysregulation. That is the mechanism. The lie is not just about information. It is about power. It is about forcing another person to carry what the liar cannot hold.

The contagion of deception is the forced transference of shame, confusion, and blame onto the victim. And civilization is the choice not to replicate the wound in another. Not to unburden oneself at someone else's expense. Choosing to hold oneself accountable, even when others have not. Because truth and shared reality are the hallmarks of community.

Thanks Vlad. I'm glad you're bringing an energetic perspective to my ethics essay. Please keep in mind I'm starting an interview series and your perspectives would be welcome there
